Karan has teamed up with Sean Óg Graham, her long-time collaborator and friend, to create a dynamic and enchanting album of songs that speaks to healing, camaraderie in times of strife, finding enrichment and new life in campaigning for women, and of course death. This is an ode to the natural world featuring the songbirds of Portglenone, the moon, conversations from the grave, returning to the wild, listening for the cuckoo as she sleeps.

L'auteure-compositrice-interprète irlandaise Karan Casey ouvre la voie depuis plus de 25 ans. Amoureuse des ballades, des chansons d'amour et des versions brûlantes de chansons de justice sociale, elle a sorti 12 albums et fait de nombreuses tournées à travers le monde. En 2018, Karan a aidé à fonder FairPlé qui est une organisation visant à atteindre l'équité et l'équilibre entre les sexes pour les interprètes féminines dans les musiques traditionnelles et folks irlandaises.
