Eat Sleep Pipe Repeat est le nouveau recueil de partitions pour cornemuse écossaise de Kyle Warren (sonneur du Field Marhal Mongomery Pipe-Band et du groupe Red Hot Chili Piper). Le livre comprend 50 airs dont 42 pièces composées par Kyle ainsi que des compositions originales de Gordon Duncan, Chris Armstrong et Mark Saul qu'il a arrangées.
Le type de répertoire est varié : jigs, reels et hornpipes mais aussi quelques strasthspeys et autres danses écossaises. Les airs contenus dans ce recueils sont à la fois destinés aux sonneurs en groupe (pipe-band) comme pour du solo ! Il y a notamment des airs popularisés par des pipe-bands comme Inveraray, Scottish Power ou Field Marshal Montgomery.

Kyle Warren
4 time World Champion piper Kyle Warren has recently returned to Scotland after spending 5 years in Australia, teaching at the prestigious Scotch College in Melbourne and leading the Grade 2 Australian Champions - Hawthorn Pipe Band.
Before emigrating, Kyle was a member of the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band winning 17 major titles in 4 years (2011-2014), which included a history making double ‘Grand Slam’. Kyle was also a full-time member of the Red Hot Chilli Pipers touring worldwide, joining the famous ‘BagRock’ band after graduating with a First Class Honours from the Scottish Music – Piping Degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
Highlights in Kyle’s piping career include releasing his debut album ‘Wanted’ and book of music ‘Tunez’, recording pipes on the Disney Pixar Oscar winning movie ‘Brave’, reaching the final of the BBC Scotland Young Traditional Musician of the year, Pipe Major of the National Youth Pipe Band of Scotland, winning a Danny Kyle award with ‘TNT’ at Celtic Connections, winning the Bagad Championship in Lorient with Bagad Cap Caval and teaching at the highly successful Dollar Academy prior to emigrating to Australia.
2020 sees Kyle based back in Scotland, back with FMMPB, and excited to release his second music book – EAT SLEEP PIPE REPEAT.
